I track my physical condition in several ways: blood pressure, treadmill, steps overall, ease of standing.
Blood pressure: In target. I generally take it after treadmill but also occasionally during the week.
Treadmill: My target is 3 times a week for total of 20 minutes. I’ve been having some issues if the room with the home treadmill is warmer than I like, but overall I can do the 20 minutes in 2 10-minute sessions.
Steps overall: I’ve doubled my average steps per day.
Specifics: Wow, heat affects me more than I thought. We’ve hit 90F once this year. It raises both my pulse and blood pressure. It decreases stamina. Like prior years, I’m been shifting my treadmill time earlier to avoid the main heat of the day.
Fluff: I listen to podcasts on the treadmill and generally am streaming something on the TV – usually a nature video on YouTube.
